CFR offers complete respiratory protection compliance, utilizing Quantitative testing. This is recommended because of its ability to give an actual respirator "fit factor" and has a greater sensitivity in detecting leaks. OSHA regulations require quantitative testing on all Full-Face Respirators.
We utilize the TSI Portacount Pro+ when performing quantitative fit testing at our customers' sites. These computerized devices represent the latest advancements in fit testing technology. The TSI Portacount takes a measurement of particles as an indirect measure of respirator fit. Because of advanced technology, our fit testers are more reliable and faster than any other qualitative (e.g., smoke tubes, saccharin, Bitrex and banana oil).
Why choose CFR Compliance Group for your Fit Testing Needs:
If you require or provide respirators to employees, then OSHA (Under section 1910.134(c)(2)(i)) requires that the employer provide current respirator protection use information and implements a written respiratory program.
The program must include information that helps the employee determine whether he/she is healthy enough to use the respirator; that it is properly cleaned, stored, and maintained; and poses no threat of danger.
At CFR Compliance as part of our Fit Testing Program, we can create your Respirator Protection Program, and act as your Administrator for the program.
